PT. Starch Solution Internasional is a new entity previously named PT. AVEBE Indonesia. This change took place following the business decision of AVEBE UA (Netherland) as a shareholder of PT. AVEBE Indonesia in order to re-focus in the business of potato starch. The consequence is to release PT. AVEBE Indonesia that is based on tapioca starch. In line with the change of ownership (1st November 2006) to the new owner, legal entity PT. AVEBE Indonesia was continuously used until the PT. Starch Solution Internasional was officially used on 1st February 2007. The change of this new name as a whole shall not alter the existing operational management and personnel. Some changes in the system were made merely to increase more efficiency and cost reduction for the improvement of the competitive power with the products of competitors.
